A Good Book, an Open Window, and Something Slightly Iced (or Still Warm—No Judgment)
There’s truly nothing better than getting lost in a really good book—especially when spring finally shows up and insists you take it outside. Whether you’re posted up on the porch with an iced coffee, stretched out on a picnic blanket, or pretending you’re “just going to read one chapter” with the windows open and a breeze coming through, reading feels like a small seasonal reset.
It’s one of those simple pleasures that never tries too hard and somehow still delivers every time. No notifications, no agenda—just you, a story, and maybe a slightly ambitious plan to finish “just one more chapter” before dinner (you won’t).
This spring reading list is a mix of books that pulled me in immediately and refused to let go—in the best way. A few were devoured in a single sitting (oops), others I tried to pace myself with (less successful). Whether you’re in the mood for a twisty mystery, a feel-good romance, or something that makes you cancel plans so you can keep reading in golden hour light, there’s something here with your name on it.
